There, the real nightmare began.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For two nights in a row,&nbsp;<code>Nym<\/code>,&nbsp;<code>Aurelio<\/code>, and&nbsp;<code>Zogg<\/code>&nbsp;were awakened by an intense, burning pain from magical brands that had appeared on their bodies. The marks pulsed with fey energy and vanished without a trace each morning, only to return the next night. Meanwhile,&nbsp;<code>Gassi's<\/code>&nbsp;hands glowed inexplicably, but he himself was completely unmarked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A mysterious, cloaked figure named&nbsp;<code>Threadbare<\/code>&nbsp;manifested in the inn. He spoke in riddles and revealed that an enemy named&nbsp;<code>Stormhoof<\/code>&nbsp;had left them &#8220;unfinished.&#8221; He explained to&nbsp;<code>Aurelio<\/code>&nbsp;that they had not been &#8220;spared, but preserved,&#8221; and gave&nbsp;<code>Zogg<\/code>&nbsp;a blank wooden disc before vanishing without a trace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The journey into the unknown began after a messenger delivered a sealed scroll from&nbsp;<code>Jamandi Aldori<\/code>&nbsp;to&nbsp;<code>Zogg<\/code>, with a summons that could not be ignored. During the three-day journey, they encountered more ominous signs: a&nbsp;<code>Black Banner<\/code>&nbsp;flag by a tree with a carved spiral, and a dying man who, with his last words, gave them a second Aldori scroll after being attacked by&nbsp;<code>Thunderhoof<\/code>&nbsp;centaurs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Great Mysteries &amp; Clues<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><code>Stormhoof<\/code>&nbsp;&amp; The&nbsp;<code>Thunderhoof<\/code>&nbsp;Clan:<\/strong>&nbsp;A powerful centaur leader who seems to be the primary antagonist. His clan is behind at least one of the attacks, and he is connected to the magical attack that nearly killed you.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The Fey Curse:<\/strong>&nbsp;The nightly brands are a direct connection to the First World. Why do they return? Is it a trail, a torment, or a way for&nbsp;<code>Stormhoof<\/code>&nbsp;to keep an eye on you?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><code>Jamandi Aldori<\/code>&nbsp;&amp; The Singing Thief:<\/strong>&nbsp;What does the powerful&nbsp;<code>Jamandi<\/code>&nbsp;want? And who is the &#8220;Singing Thief&#8221; that&nbsp;<code>Gassi<\/code>&nbsp;claims lured the&nbsp;<code>Black Banner<\/code>&nbsp;into a trap? Are they the same person?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><code>Gassi's<\/code>&nbsp;Powers &amp;&nbsp;<code>Threadbare's<\/code>&nbsp;Guidance:<\/strong>&nbsp;<code>Gassi's<\/code>&nbsp;uncontrolled magic seems to be the key to your survival.&nbsp;<code>Threadbare<\/code>&nbsp;is acting as a mysterious guide who opposes&nbsp;<code>Stormhoof<\/code>. Both are connected to the First World.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Cliffhanger<\/strong><br>The session ends just as you, tired and confused, arrive at the impressive manor belonging to&nbsp;<code>Jamandi Aldori<\/code>. You have two scrolls in your possession and more questions than answers.
