Suddenly, the place was teeming with spiders, and a battle broke out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, it turned out that the biggest threat was not the spiders, but a wood-like creature \u2013 a sort of &#8220;Twigling&#8221; or cousin to a&nbsp;<strong>M\u00f6nster\u00e5sare<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 that was hiding and burrowing into the earthen floor inside the hut.&nbsp;<strong>Aurelio<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Zogg<\/strong>&nbsp;held the front while&nbsp;<strong>Gassi<\/strong>&nbsp;used his alchemy and&nbsp;<strong>Nym<\/strong>&nbsp;tried (in an extremely unconventional way by urinating) to lure out the creature. After a drawn-out battle, the group managed to defeat the monster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Inside the hut, the group unfortunately found the&nbsp;<strong>Herb Woman<\/strong>&nbsp;dead, a victim of the spiders. The scene was macabre with spiders crawling out of her eye sockets, which shook the group considerably. However, you found a journal, recipes, and ingredients \u2013 including the coveted&nbsp;<strong>Blue Strawberries<\/strong>. Among the books, you also found a fair bit of&#8230; &#8220;granny-erotica,&#8221; which sparked great amusement and boundless speculation about the woman&#8217;s hobbies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the journey back toward civilization,&nbsp;<strong>Gassi<\/strong>&nbsp;worked tirelessly in the wagon. The result was a foul-smelling blue sludge (scented of strawberry, lavender, mint, and skunk) that managed to cure&nbsp;<strong>Nym<\/strong>&#8216;s hand!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the road, you encountered a camp of Goblins. Instead of combat, you chose diplomacy.&nbsp;<strong>Nym<\/strong>&nbsp;ceremonially presented&nbsp;<strong>The Shit Shovel<\/strong>&nbsp;as a gift, which confused but delighted the goblins. In exchange, you received a strange metal object. You also stopped by your acquaintance&nbsp;<strong>Bokken<\/strong>, who seemed unusually stiff and suspicious, but who eagerly wanted the blue berries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Finally, you arrived safely at&nbsp;<strong>Oleg&#8217;s Trading Post<\/strong>. Over a bowl of steaming radish soup, you had a chat with&nbsp;<strong>Kesten Garess<\/strong>. He revealed that a traitor named&nbsp;<strong>Falgrim<\/strong>&nbsp;had stolen from him and fled south to join bandits in the&nbsp;<strong>Greenbelt<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Great Mysteries &amp; Clues<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>The Dead Woman\u2019s Mission:<\/strong>\u00a0In the journal, there was a note stating that\u00a0<strong>Lord Edmar<\/strong>\u00a0has a sick daughter who was in need of the\u00a0<strong>Herb Woman<\/strong>&#8216;s brews. You now have the brews \u2013 are you going to deliver them?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Bokken\u2019s Behavior:<\/strong>\u00a0Why was the old hermit\u00a0<strong>Bokken<\/strong>\u00a0acting so stiff and strange? Was he hiding something, or was it just a bad day?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The Metal Object:<\/strong>\u00a0What is that strange contraption you received from the goblins in exchange for the shovel?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Falgrim &amp; The Bandits:<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Kesten<\/strong>\u00a0wants the traitor\u00a0<strong>Falgrim<\/strong>\u00a0caught. Has he sought protection with the infamous\u00a0<strong>Stag Lord<\/strong>?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The Purple Kobold:<\/strong>\u00a0The mystery regarding the alleged purple kobold still eludes the group.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cliffhanger<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Full of soup but hungry for adventure, the group now sits in safety with&nbsp;<strong>Oleg<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Svetlana<\/strong>. But eyes are turned south toward the&nbsp;<strong>Greenbelt<\/strong>. With sights set on hunting down the traitor&nbsp;<strong>Falgrim<\/strong>, and perhaps even confronting the&nbsp;<strong>Stag Lord<\/strong>, the wilderness awaits you.
