Sequence of Events
The session threw you right into the final stages of the chaotic battle in the Mitflit nest. Aurelio climbed up from the chasm just in time to see Gassi heal the fallen Mikmek. The little kobold returned to consciousness with newfound fervor, hit an enemy with his spear, and immediately burst into an ecstatic victory dance. With renewed morale, you quickly finished off the last of the enemies. Maven ended the fight with an axe blow of brutal magnitude, causing one Mitflit to completely explode.
After the battle, Mikmek, to everyone’s surprise, found the stolen Totem in a simple basket you had all run past. Your perilous hunt could, ironically, have been solved with a simple search. You also found a map of the kobold cave system – an attack plan – along with some strange notes. Aurelio discovered to his horror a familiar, ominous symbol on one of the notes: a triangle with a dot above it, a sign from his past that he kept to himself. In a sack Maven kicked, you found coins, a plain silver ring that Gassi suspected might belong to Svetlana, and a statuette of a devil that Mikmek called “The chief’s, chief’s!”.
The exploration continued through more narrow passages, where you fell into yet another ambush with both Mitflits and giant centipedes. In the total darkness, it became a confusing battle, where Zogg had to act as a human shield and Nym swung his whip wildly in sheer frustration. After defeating these threats as well, you discovered the Mitflits‘ foul-smelling breeding chamber for the centipedes and finally found a way out to the surface.
After a well-deserved rest, where Aurelio traditionally failed catastrophically at cooking (this time with cockroaches), you returned to Sootscale Caverns. Mikmek became the hero of the day when he proudly returned the Totem to his chief. In a long and heartwarming farewell, you thanked your new friend. Maven gave him a bone-crushing hug, Aurelio gifted him more spears, and everyone gave him encouragement. Nym performed the victory dance again. Mikmek, bursting with pride, promised to train hard to become almost as great a warrior as “the great Maven“.
Chief Sootscale, grateful but still pressured, gave you a final mission to secure his power: to kill a large, brown beast with sharp teeth that is preying on the forest. Only when the beast is slain does he promise to give you all the information he has about the Stag Lord. The group accepted, retrieved their wagon, and set off toward the next adventure.

With the stolen Totem returned and an invaluable ally gained in the young warrior Mikmek, you have strengthened your position in the Stolen Lands. But new threats are looming. Chief Sootscale has tasked you with hunting a mysterious and dangerous beast to finally crush his rivals and give you the information on the Stag Lord. Meanwhile, Aurelio carries a heavy secret after seeing a symbol that has reawakened dark memories. Your journey now continues, deeper into the wilderness, toward an unknown monster.
